As a national student and professional based organization, The National Society of Black Engineers does hereby dedicate itself to increasing the participation of minority students in the fields of Engineering and Applied science. As a part of our mandate, programs will be initiated both within and outside the university community, which will serve to strengthen relations between industry and the minority community. Members of this organization are encouraged to join and participate in activities of the McMaster Engineering Society and professional societies advocating their respective discipline of Engineering. This organization will endeavour to provide a nurturing atmosphere that will foster the growth of members’ professional, academic, leadership and social skills.
Name: Ryan De Riggs
Ryan De Riggs is an international student from the spice island of Grenada. He majors in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering and enjoys poetry immensely. He has 3 years experience on the NSBEmac exec board and work experience; both in the teaching at the secondary school level and with Peloton Computer Enterprises, Calgary.

Sirak Haile is in his third year of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering.
Name: Jenna Harris
Position: First Year Rep
Jenna Harris is in her first year of the iBioMed program. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, as she has been trained in a variety of styles. Her previous exec experience includes her high school’s Student Council and Black Students Association.

Position: Communications Chair
Juwon Adeola is a third year Software engineering student. He is determined to help NSBE grow at Mac. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, sports like soccer and basketball, and going to the gym.

Position: Membership Chair
Brian Kibazohi is a Software Engineering and Management student. He is an enthusiastic well rounded individual, who has years of experience in mentoring and inspiring the youth. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, football and analyzing different forms of art.
Name: Olayiwola Bakare
Olayiwola Bakare is in his second year at McMaster University, studying Computer Engineering and Management. He enjoys playing basketball and soccer. He is also passionate about helping others and hopes that when he graduates he can help make technology global and available to underrepresented people around the world.

Corie Bain is an international student from Grenada. He majors in Computer Science and enjoys swimming in his free time. He is very community oriented and has led initiatives such as teaching computer skills to orphans.

Feyisayo Enuiyin is a third-year Chemical Engineering Student who is determined to help NSBE grow at Mac. She has five years of experience in leadership and mentorship roles She enjoys watching and listening to various genres of music and film.
Name: Chiamaka (Amaka) Maduekwe
Chiamaka Maduekwe is a Chemical Engineering student. She is a fun, energetic, loving and kind individual, who loves helping and inspiring the youths. She loves watching shows, soccer, basketball and photography.
